Our Missions Team sponsors a food drive from the 3rd Sunday – 4th Sunday of each month (except November). Bring non-perishable food items to church anytime during that period and drop them into the boxes in the Jones Narthex (we welcome donations anytime, place food in the barrel near the elevator). The food is then taken to the United Methodist Children’s Services food pantry. A monthly list of food needed at the pantry will be printed in the Sunday Bulletin on the 3rd Sunday services of each month.

What is FaithWorks?
FaithWorks is a ministry that meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 8 am for communal breakfast and devotions followed by community work and/or a service project at church. Great opportunity for families! There is something for everyone to do!

God's Love in Action
The FaithWorks team has adopted the motto of “God’s love in action” inspired by the words of Mother Teresa in her book, The Simple Path. We are faithfully involved with the following community outreach services: Northcott Neighborhood House, United Methodist Children’s Services, Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Homebound Care for our own church, MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary’s ongoing ministry for the Homeless, and Salvation Army.
Our group has sponsored community chats with the directors and volunteer coordinators of the organizations listed above in order to learn more about the needs of the communities they serve daily. As a result, the vision of our group is to build bridges that connect us to the greater Milwaukee community where we can begin to fulfill the great commission beyond the walls of our church.
We are ready and willing to serve in whatever capacity we are called!
Long-sleeve t-shirts with the FaithWorks logo are available for purchase. There are children’s and adult sizes. The cost per shirt is $20. They can be purchased in the church office or at FaithWorks.
